Michael
Ronis is the co-owner of Manhattan's famous Carmine's and Virgil's restaurants.
In 1995, he approached an old friend Herb Goldberg, a prior Wendy's franchisee,
president of Steve's Ice Cream, and the United States first Haagen-Daz
franchisee, with the idea of creating a premium bite size burger and home
made French Fries shop. Mike and Herb traveled to various states, sampling
other food establishments to formulate the concept. |
